Hi, I am Deepa.

Founder & Maker — Canberra, Australia

I'm a mum, a full-time worker, and a self-taught maker who builds her business one stitch at a time — usually after my toddler goes to sleep at night.

The Hairloom Co. started from a love of beautiful, handmade things and a dream of creating something meaningful — something that made women and little ones feel special in the most ordinary moments of their day.

I taught myself to sew, figured it out as I went, and fell completely in love with the process of turning beautiful fabric into something someone would wear and treasure. Every piece I make is something I'm genuinely proud of — and I hope you feel that when it arrives at your door.
